We have several active ministries, including Children’s Ministry & 412 Youth, Ladies’ Ministry and visitation Ministry. In addition, we have a benevolence program to provide financial help for church members and others as needed. We also have Helping Hands groups to assist our family with other needs.
We also participate in the World Bible School program. This is a free Bible study and is available by contacting the church office or through the Contact Us page. In addition church members assist students in foreign countries with the program via partnership with Ocean Bridge.
Children’s Ministry & 412 Youth

Amy Jolley – Ministry Coordinator
Matt Oaks – Youth Minister
Our children are involved in several activities. In the fall, they begin preparing for activities for Lads 2 Leaders. These can include speeches, art, song-leading and more. In the spring, they attend the convention to showcase their talents, all in service for God.
Our younger children participate in a very special service in ministry. Every Sunday they come forward to contribute to the Mt. Dora Children’s Home. They are an encouragement to all of us.
Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but set an example for the believers in speech, inconduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12

Ladies’ Ministry
The purposes of the Ladies Ministry of the Clanton Church of Christ are:
- Take care of the physical needs of the church.
- Welcome visitors and new members.
- Exercise our spiritual gifts and talents.
- Build relationships.
- Encourage one another.
- Learn and grow.
Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Hebrews 10:24
Missions

One of the main missions of the Clanton Church of Christ, in conjunction with the West Metro Church of Christ in Hiram, Georgia, is to support work at the Children’s Christian School in Honduras. A group from West Metro travels each year to complete repairs around the school and to help residents in the adjoining areas with needs around their homes. In addition, they take clothes for the children and adults. As physical needs are met, they are able to focus on spiritual needs. They attend worship services with the residents at the five churches in the area.

World Bible School
WBS is one of the most proven, cost-effective means of equipping Christians to fulfill the Great Commission.
The ministry has taught millions of truth seekers by mobilizing tens of thousands of everyday, volunteer Christians. Church members participate in this program globally with students via OceanBridge as well as locally through our own community.
WBS lessons share the knowledge of who God is, who we are, and why we are here. They share the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. They share the Good News of Jesus – God’s Son, God with us – and how to have a relationship with Him. They share Jesus’ plan of salvation culminating with baptism for the remission of sins. They share how Jesus adds newborn Christians to His church and how this becomes our new spiritual family. Finally, they share how to grow into a spiritually mature person, living a life of love just like Jesus!
